Youth Ministry

Junior High Youth Ministry

Junior High Youth Ministry for our family of parishes is open to any teens in grades 7-8 in our Family of Parishes, and friends. This includes public school, private school, and home-school teens. Parents, you are welcome to register your teen for any of the three options below. (Note that Monday afternoon is directly after school and directed towards Bishop Leibold students). Please note that some locations may have limited space, and all options are pending enough registrants.

Why join? The Christian faith is about following Jesus in our own time and space. Our youth ministry is an apprenticeship in the Christian life. Each member will be paired with a small group captain to walk with them throughout the year (either an adult volunteer or a peer leader). Our goal is to help teens learn more their faith and live it, with guidance from adult and peer leaders. Each week includes a combo of activities, teaching, prayer, and small-group discussion.

We are offering 3 Junior High Sessions this year at the following times and locations:

  • For Bishop Leibold students (St. Henry campus): Monday Afternoons, 3:30-5:00 pm in the Parish Activity Center
  • St. Henry: Monday Evenings, 6:00-7:30 pm in the Parish Activities Center.
  • St. Mary of the Assumption: Wednesday Evenings, 5:30-7:00 pm

Peer Leadership: High School teens will also have the opportunity to participate as peer leaders in various ministries. This includes training during the summer and ownership over elements of our ministry during the year. See the QR code below to apply, or reach out to Jeffrey with any questions.
